Description
Summary:The topography and deep structure of the Labrador Sea floor have as yet been quite inadequately studied. It is only thanks to geophysical exploration carried out in recent years in this region of the Atlantic Ocean by American, Canadian and Soviet geophysicists that the principal deep structural features of the Labrador Sea floor have been successfully revealed. The most important result of these explorations was the discovery of the Mid Labrador Sea Ridge, buried under recent sediments. (Author) Trans. of Moscow Univ. Vestnik.
