The report presents the results of the frost investigation conducted at Dow Field, Bangor, Maine during the period from September 1944 through June 1945. The investigation at Dow Field includes 3 test areas in which observations were made of ground water table, frost penetration, ice segregation, water content and density. Pavement bearing tests, traffic tests and foundation modulus tests were conducted. (Author)
