The paper discusses the predominance of benthos groups within trophic zones and their distribution patterns in the Bering Sea. The trophical zonation of the bottom fauna in the Bering and Okhotsk Sea and the Pacific coastal line of Kamtshathka and North Kurile Islands are compared. A correlation between the trophic zones and biocoenoses was also studied. The distribution of trophic zones along the coasts of continents is discussed and charts showing the trophical zonation of the bottom fauna in the Asov and Baltic Sea are given.
