Both Faraday rotation and scintillation phenomena are very frequent in the records, so that ionospheric irregularities and total electron content can be studied in detail. The following progress report presents a review of the activity in this respect from 1 Sep 1966 to 31 Aug 1967. Further, the geostationary satellite Canary Bird is recorded on 136.44 Mc/s during short intervals. Such records of Canary Bird and other geostationary satellites will be strengthened in the future.
