IONOSPHERIC RESEARCH USING SATELLITES.

Unmodulated signals from Explorer 22 on 20, 40 and 41 Mc/s have been recorded at two places in Denmark and Greenland. Both Faraday rotation and scintillation phenomena are very frequent in the records, so that ionospheric irregularities and total electron content can be studied in detail. The follow...

Further, the geostationary satellite Canary Bird is recorded on 136.44 Mc/s during short intervals. Such records of Canary Bird and other geostationary satellites will be strengthened in the future.
