HEAT CONDUCTION IN MOIST POROUS MEDIA.

An equation has been developed to describe heat conduction in moist porous media. Specific examples are given to demonstrate the effect of dry medium density and water vapor diffusivity through the medium on the rate of temperature propagation in snow. (Author)
