This report contains Mercator sharts of Cruises 294 and 296 of ATLANTIS in the northwest Atlantic Ocean. Soundings and the fifteen dredge and nine heat flow stations made during the cruises are noted along the ship's tracks. The six bathythermographs and twenty-three bottles and seafloor drifter drops are tabulated. Echo sounding and seismic reflection profiler surveys of Oceanographer. Gilbert and Lydonia submarine canyons are depicted on larger scale charts. Soundings are read at five minute intervals and at each break in slope. (Author)
