TABULATION OF SEISMIC ARRIVAL TIMES AND CROSSSPREAD TIMES, SKULL CLIFF, ALASKA, 1963.

This report presents a tabulation of arrival and crossspread times for seismic records obtained by the University of Minnesota at Skull Cliff, Alaska, during the fall of 1963. The data were obtained during the course of a cooperative seismic refraction investigation of the Arctic Ocean Basin and the...

The data were obtained during the course of a cooperative seismic refraction investigation of the Arctic Ocean Basin and the continental slope north from Barrow, Alaska. Shooting was directed by the University of Wisconsin. At Skull Cliff the University of Minnesota operated a geophone array and the University of Wisconsin operated a hydrophone station plus a 3 component geophone group. The University of Wisconsin also operated geophone arrays at Barrow and Carol Lake. Lamont Geological Observatory maintained a geophone and hydrophone station on the ice breaker North Wind. The purpose of this report is to make available the basic data obtained from the University of Minnesota records, together with auxiliary information on instrumentation and receiver location.
