The research has closely followed the lines which were drawn up in the Research Proposal, dated June 28, 1960. Six papers have been prepared for publication, comprising three main items: 1) Seismic investigation of crustal structure in Iceland and the North Atlantic region. 2) Seismic investigation of crustal structure in Fennosoandia. 3) Studies of amplitudes of explosion-generated seismic waves.
