Summary:Service tests were made to determine the suitability of the Rolling Fluid Transporter, 1,000Gallon Capacity for air delivery and air transport under arctic winter conditions. It is concluded that: (a) The fluid transporter (T3) is suitable for air transport, parachute delivery, and external transport by helicopter under arctic winter conditions; and (b) The procedures and techniques developed for parachute delivery and air transport of the fluid transporter (T3), for use in temperate climates are suitable for Army use under arctic winter conditions.
