The PIE LTER lies at the interface of a thinly soiled, formerly glaciated New England land mass and the highly productive Gulf of Maine. Three watersheds comprise the estuarine drainage basin: Parker (155 km2), Rowley (26 km2) and Ipswich (404 km2). The Ipswich River watershed is highly urbanized with Boston "bedroom" communities encroaching in the headwater region while the Parker is less urbanized and retains a higher proportion of forest. 42.75789606 W 42.75789606 E -70.82429309 N -70.82429309 S 42.76081412 W 42.76081412 E -70.86197714 N -70.86197714 S 42.75563788 W 42.75563788 E -70.86902437 N -70.86902437 S 42.76353793 W 42.76353793 E -70.8862495 N -70.8862495 S 42.75692394 W 42.75692394 E -70.90359836 N -70.90359836 S 42.75262433 W 42.75262433 E -70.9125256 N -70.9125256 S 42.75263608 W 42.75263608 E -70.91949172 N -70.91949172 S 42.75236466 W 42.75236466 E -70.92408462 N -70.92408462 S 42.750262 W 42.750262 E -70.92557452 N -70.92557452 S 42.74972247 W 42.74972247 E -70.92909587 N -70.92909587 S 42.76236849 W 42.76236849 E -70.8365313 N -70.8365313 S 42.72584126 W 42.72584126 E -70.85434584 N -70.85434584 S W E N S 42.70161801 W 42.70161801 E -70.79174444 N -70.79174444 S 42.70544185 W 42.70544185 E -70.74185558 N -70.74185558 S 42.70516169 W 42.70516169 E -70.79048883 N -70.79048883 S 42.72664527 W 42.72664527 E -70.811315 N -70.811315 S 42.74708127 W 42.74708127 E -70.8195799 N -70.8195799 S 42.75438286 W 42.75438286 E -70.81393915 N -70.81393915 S 42.70634998 W 42.70634998 E -70.78615651 N -70.78615651 S 42.73139029 W 42.73139029 E -70.79906604 N -70.79906604 S 42.74691643 W 42.74691643 E -70.8210343 N -70.8210343 S 42.75594527 W 42.75594527 E -70.81184907 N -70.81184907 S -71.2198 W -70.7568 E 42.8276 N 42.4965 S 1993-06-16 to 1993-12-21 1995 text/plain http://hdl.handle.net/10255/dryad.10676 http://metacat.lternet.edu/knb/metacat/knb-lter-pie.7.3/xml unknown Plum Island Ecosystems LTERThe Ecosystems CenterMarine Biological Lab7 MBL StWoods HoleMA02543USA(508) 289 7485pie_im@mbl.eduhttp://ecosystems.mbl.edu/PIE/ http://metacat.lternet.edu/knb/metacat/knb-lter-pie.7.3/xml knb-lter-pie.7.3 http://hdl.handle.net/10255/dryad.10676 Acceptance and utilization of PIE-LTER data requires that:The Principal Investigator be sent a notice stating reasons for acquiring any data and a description of the publication intentions.The Principal Investigator of the data set be sent a copy of the report or manuscript prior to submission and be adequately cited in any resultant publicationsA copy of any resultant publications should be sent to: Principal Investigator Ecosystems Center Marine Biological Laboratory Woods Hole, MA 02543 macrofauna fish crustaceans dataset 1995 ftdryad 2020-01-01T14:24:05Z Dataset Nelson Island Dryad Digital Repository (Duke University) |
