The objective of the present study was to present the casuistry of the intestinal helminth infections that were diagnosed in the Clinical Laboratory of the Ambulatory Urban III Los Curos between the years 2012 to 2015. For that purpose, a retrospective investigation was carried out where they were studied for the period laboratory records were evaluated. The results evidenced 61.7% of parasitized individuals, 1.9% with some helminth (Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Strongyloides stercoralis, Enterobius vermicularis, Hymenolepis nana or Ancylostomideos). There was no difference between the presence of helminths and the demographic parameters age or sex. It is concluded that the ecoepidemiological conditions of Los Curos are not sufficiently adequate for the maintenance of intestinal helminth infections.
