Summary:The article analyzes the primary sociological data collected among pupils, representatives of the indigenous minorities of the North, in Yakutsk, Neryungri and Aldan of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The author notes that the main factors of adaptation to city conditions for different groups of youth are receiving education, expansion of a circle of contacts, improvement of living conditions, independence of parental guardianship. The survey revealed that, in general, in adaptation groups most trouble cause lack of parental control, unsatisfactory living conditions, the complexity of structuring everyday life.
