On the example of two districts of the Kamchatka Territory, the effectiveness of gasification of remote boiler plants with liquefied natural gas is shown as a means of restraining an excessive increase in tariffs for thermal energy. A competitive price for liquefied natural gas has been determined for remote boilers in Kamchatka, and the commercial efficiency of construction of boilers using liquefied natural gas has been evaluated.
