Summary:The article discusses the potential of international transport corridors, which can be developed in the Arctic, as well as the analysis of the main factors aff ecting the success of such projects. The basic concept of international transport corridors, compared to the Northern Sea Route and the Northwest Passage to identify the most competitive corridor. Describes the requirements that must be done to transform the Northern Sea Route and the Northwest Passage to international transport corridor. We identifi ed and analyzed the main factors affecting the success of the project to transform the Northern Sea Route and the Northwest Passage to international transport corridor.
