Five of these species are rare and listed in the Red Data Book of the Murmansk Region (2014). The patterns of distribution of each species in the Murmansk Region and the area adjacent to the nature reserve, as well as the reasons for classifying some species native in the region as adventitious in the nature reserve are discussed. For many of both native and adventitious species the newly detected habitats are the northernmost in the Murmansk Region.
