Summary:Interannual changes of the pink salmon abundance at the western and northeastern coasts of Kamchatka are analyzed. Local stocks with certain patterns of the abundance dynamics are revealed. Contribution of these local groups to the overall reproduction of the regional macro-complexes and catch of pink salmon in the 1957–2020 is considered. Prospects of the reproduction and catch are evaluated. Taking into account the revealed heterogeneity of the population dynamics in spatially isolated groups within macro-complexes, quality of forecasting the pink salmon stocks and catches at Kamchatka could be improved.
