Both diseases were diagnosed by specific immune-enzyme tests for the detection of IgM antibodies. A survey was applied to each individuals to consider clinical data, and hematological values were also determined in each case. The results obtained were analyzed through methods of Student T and simple frequency. The main clinical manifestations of patients with dengue-fever were: fever, general malaise, migraines, chills, retro-orbital pain and osteoarthralgia, and leukopenia, neutropenia, relative lymphocytosis and thrombocytopenia were also found. The most frequent clinical manifestations in individuals with infectious mononucleosis were: fever, linphadenopathias, pharynge pain, general malaise and migraines, and neutropenia and lynfocitosis were also found. Of all the results obtained, variations were observed in the clinical and hematological variables of patients with dengue fever and infectious mononucleosis.
