The rate of attack of the outbreak was 5.7%. Patients had an average age of 30.7. According to age, the highest rate of attack (16.6%) occurred in the group 19-23 years old. According to occupation, the greatest rate of attack (8%) was observed in workmen. 80% of the patients were of mixed race. The only clinical form that appeared was localized cutaneous leishmaniasis, of the ulcerated type (83.1%) with an average of 2.1 lesions per patient, situated on lower limbs (47.8%) and upper limbs (39.7%). Average size was 17.6 mm. Averages for the period of incubation and time of evolution were 4.9 and 6 weeks respectively. The Montenegro intradermal reaction was negative in all patients and the direct parasitology exam was positive in 100% of the cases.
