Summary:The medical ice cap is commonly used in the treatment of febrile patients. This paper introduced the design and application of a medical ice cap with bi-directional opening. The medical ice cap has been designed to facilitate the surgical wound observation and drainage. The ice cap with adjustable Velcro can accommodate a wide range of head sizes.
