Summary:Objective – to study during pregnancy, birth outcomes in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism, living in the Arctic. Materials and methods. A prospective study involving 191 pregnant (2012-2014, Labytnangi) examined the state of thyroid function, an endocrinologist. Results. The medication correction of subclinical hypothyroidism in pregnant women in extreme north indicated less thyroid gland, than in women without medication correcting this condition. In newborns of mothers with subclinical hypothyroidism, there has been an increase in the size of the thyroid gland and reduced Apgar score.
