Summary:Nineteen parasite species, belonging to:Protozoa, Monogenea, Cestoda, Trematoda, Nematoda, Acanthocephala and Crustaceo, were recovered from the examined specimens of Greenland halibut from Labrador fishing grounds. Prevalence and intensity of infection of particular parasites as well as their location in or on the host were detennined. Attention was given to parasites harmful for humans.
