On the basis of structural and logical analysis and synthesis, the paper presents the structure and the correlations of this mechanism, including the management objective, subjective part of management, the key types of social and economic policy, the methods and tools. The author proves the necessity of using the tools of risk management, multilevel government, new methods and management tools that reflect the goals and strategic priorities of the enlarged reproduction of the labor force in the Russian Northin the management of the reproduction of labour power. The activities of the subjects of management to ensure the expanded reproduction of labour forceare determined. As a result of using the mechanism the transition to the expanded reproduction of the labour force in the Russian Northis achieved. The control mechanism presented in the paper can be used as the subjects of labour management at the level of the federal center and the regions, and individual employers, trade unions and social organizations.
