Ikerketa arkeologikoaren helburu garrantzitsuenetako bat da San Kristobal ermita kokatzea, eta nabarmen aurreratu du kanpaina honetan. Ermita gisa identifikatutako eraikin baten hondakinei atxikita, hogeita hamabost metro luzeko babes-horma bat aurkitu da, eta horrek iradokitzen digu San Kristobal gazteluaren hondarrekin eraikitako gotorleku baten aurrean gaudela. The archaeological investigation, one of whose most important objectives is to locate the San Cris­tóbal chapel, made considerable progress in this campaign. The discovery of a thirty-five-metre long defensive wall abutted against the remains of a building identified as the chapel suggests that we have a fortification built with the remains of San Cristophol castle. La investigación arqueológica, que tiene como uno de sus objetivos más importantes situar la ermita de San Cristóbal, ha avanzado considerablemente en esta campaña. El hallazgo de un muro defen­sivo de treinta y cinco metros de longitud, anexo a los restos de un edificio identificado como la ermita, nos sugiere que nos encontramos ante una fortificación construida con los restos del castillo de San Cristophol.
