In this article we will present the contemporary francophone fantastic in Canada and its relation to the past tradition. To start with, we will make a short overview of the different genres of the fantastic in order to understand the concrete realizations of those genres in the francophone literatures of Canada (in plural). Second, we will summarize the evolution of the francophone fantastic until nowadays by studying at the same time some aspects of the fantastic through different times and some common themes. Finally, we will deal with some essential works (such as those written by Yann Martel, Hédi Bouraoui, etc.) and the tendencies of those fantastic literatures in Canada. Dans cet article, nous présenterons le fantastique contemporain francophone au Canada et ses résonnances avec celui du passé. En guise d’introduction, nous ferons une courte présentation des différents genres du fantastique afin de comprendre l’imbrication de ces genres dans les littératures francophones du Canada au pluriel. Ensuite, nous retracerons l’évolution du fantastique francophone jusqu’à aujourd’hui en abordant en parallèle certains aspects du fantastique à travers les époques et quelques thématiques récurrentes. Enfin, nous présenterons quelques œuvres marquantes et illustratives (telles que celles de : Yann Martel, Hédi Bouraoui, etc) et les tendances de ces littératures fantastiques au Canada. En este artículo presentaremos lo fantástico contemporáneo francófono en Canadá y sus resonancias con el pasado. A modo de introducción, haremos una breve presentación de los diferentes géneros de lo fantástico para poder comprender la imbricación de dichos géneros en las literaturas francófonas [en plural] de Canadá. A continuación, recopilaremos la evolución de lo fantástico francófono hasta la actualidad abordando en paralelo ciertos aspectos de lo fantástico a través de diferentes épocas y de algunas temáticas recurrentes. Finalmente, presentaremos algunas obras clave e ilustrativas (tales como las de Yann Martel, Hédi Bouraoui, ...
