| Summary: | We describe changes in the Offi cial List of the Birds of Costa Rica for the period 2009- 2010. We include fi ve new registers for the country in the Offi cial with Voucher category: Sarkidiornis melanonotus comb duck, Pterodroma rostrata Tahiti petrel, Puffi nus opisthomelas black-vented shearwater, Charadrius melodus piping plover and Thraupis abbas yellow-winged tanager. Four species are changed from Offi cial without Voucher to Offi cial with Voucher: Pterodroma phaeopygia Galapagos petrel, Oceanodroma leucorhoa Leach�s storm-petrel, Patagioenas leucocephala white-crowned pigeon and Dendroica tigrina Cape May warbler. New photografi c evidence was accepted to update vouchers for Harpia harpyja harpy eagle and Anthracothorax veraguensis Veraguan mango. The taxonomic status and scientifi c name of all species were updated according the the most recent list of the American Ornithologists´Union (AOU); we especially call attention to these changes by the AOU because they considerably modify the list. Incluimos cinco nuevos registros para el país en la categoría Ofi cial-Con comprobante: Sarkidiornis melanonotus comb duck, Pterodroma rostrata Tahiti petrel, Puffi nus opisthomelas black-vented shearwater, Charadrius melodus piping plover y Thraupis abbas yellow-winged tanager. Cuatro especies cambian de categoría y pasan de Ofi cial-Sin comprobante a Ofi cial-Con comprobante: Pterodroma phaeopygia Galapagos petrel, Oceanodroma leucorhoa Leach�s storm-Petrel, Patagioenas leucocephala whitecrowned pigeon y Dendroica tigrina Cape May warbler. Nuevas evidencias fotográfi cas fueron aceptadas como actualización de comprobantes para Harpia harpyja águila arpía y Anthracothorax veraguensis Veraguan mango.
