A Critical Contribution to issue whether ol-Carh is a al-Gıybat or not in the History of Hadith

al-Carh and al-Ta'dil, as a branch of Usul al-Hadith, hes an important role of seorching sound riwayat/ahâdith. In the history of Hadith, there were some discussions relating to the issue of ılm al-Carh. Because al-Carh, as a meaning word is to wound someone or something. In these discussions some scholars say that to search someone's bad side means al-Gıybat "in Islamic Literature" to speak someone's İll in his/her absence and the al-Gıybat is not allowed in Islam, but on the other hand, some say that it is not al-Gıybat. So this artiche deals with these kind of discussions. Cerh ve ta'dil, hadis usulünün belli başlı konularından birisidir. Bu ilim, hadislerin sıhhatini tespit etmede çok önemli bir işleve sahiptir. Hadis tarihine baktığımız zaman, cerh konusuyla ilgili olarak bazı tartışmaların yapılmış olduğunu görürüz. Bu tartışmalardan birisi de, cerhin gıybet olup olmadığı meselesidir. Bu bağlamda; kimileri cerhi câiz görürken, kimileri de gıybet kapsamına gireceği endişesinden dolayı câiz görmemişlerdir. Biz de bu çalışmamızda, cerhin gıybet olup olmadığı yönündeki tartışmalara eleştirel bir açıdan katkıda bulunmak istedik.
