ADÖLESAN GEBELERDE BEDEN İMAJI ALGISININ BELİRLENMESİ

Determination of Body Image Perception in Adolescent Pregnants Objective: The research has been done as a descriptive in order to the perception of body image in adolescent pregnants who applies for antenatal checks to Obstetrics and Gynecology Policlinic in Dr. Sami Ulus Obstetric and Gynecology, Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital. Method: Sample of the research constitutes of 165 volunteer adolescent pregnants, literate, 19 years old and under, married, having no psychological problem, open to verbal communication who has applied for Obstetrics and Gynecology Policlinic to antenatal checks in June and December of 2013. As a device of collecting data; Introductory Information Form which is prepared by researchers has been used to determine the sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics, and Body Cathexis Scale has been used to determine perception of body image in adolescent pregnants. The obtained datas has been evaluated by using percentage, mean, standart deviation, Student’s t test, Kruskal-Wallis, Oneway ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U and Tukey tests. Results: It has been found that, 44.2% of adolescent pregnants are in 16-18 years olds. 31.5% of adolescent pregnants in the research are in the first trimestre, 31.5% of them are in the second trimestre. The average score of Body Cathexis Scale of adolescent pregnants who are in the research has been found 146.3±23.9.Conclusions: Social assurance attitude of adolescent pregnants, the situation of getting monthly salary and husband’s age have been found to effect body image score (p ÖZETAmaç: Araştırma, Dr. Sami Ulus Kadın Doğum, Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Kadın Doğum Polikliniği’ne antenatal kontroller için başvuran adölesan gebelerde beden imajı algısının belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini 24 Haziran – 23 Aralık 2013 tarihlerinde Kadın Doğum Polikliniği'ne antenatal kontroller için başvuran 19 yaş ve altında, evli, okur-yazar, psikiyatrik sorunu olmayan, sözel iletişime açık, gönüllü 165 adölesan gebe oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak; adölesan gebelerin sosyodemografik ve obstetrik özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmış olan Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve adölesan gebelerde beden imajı algısını belirlemek için Vücut Algısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler yüzdelik, ortalama ve standart sapma, Student’s t testi, Kruskal-Wallis, Oneway ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U ve Tukey test istatistiği kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Adölesan gebelerin .2’sinin 16-18 yaş grubunda olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan adölesan gebelerin .5’i I. trimesterde, .5’i II. trimesterdedir. Araştırma kapsamına alınan adölesan gebelerin Vücut Algısı Ölçeği puan ortalamasının 146.3±23.9 olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuçlar: Adölesan gebelerin sosyal güvence durumu, aylık geliri algılama durumu ve eşinin yaşının, vücut algısı puanlarını etkilediği bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Gebeliği planlı olan adölesan gebelerin vücut algısı, planlı olmayanlara göre daha olumlu bulunmuş ve aralarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05).
