The cases between the ages of 1–11 were considered as “child age group” and those between the ages of 12–17 were considered as the “adolescent age group”.Results: The median age was 9 years and 63.1% (n=161) were male. Child age group comprised 73.7% (n=188) of the cases. The rate of males in the child age group of immigrants was found to be significantly higher (67%; χ2(1)=4.638, p=0.031). Of the cases, 45.4% (n=116) were from Iraq, 36.5% (n=93) were from Syria, and 12.9% (n=33) were from Afghanistan. 91.8% (n=234) of the cases were primarily diagnosed as psychiatric according to DSM-5. Psychotropic drug use was found in 27.5% (n=70) of the cases. Conclusion: It is clear that there is a need for preventive interventions to be planned considering that the prevalence of psychiatric disorders is high in immigrant applicants, the majority of whom are in the child age group, those of the male sex and those from regions such as Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
