Summary:In Turkish, vowels are divided into three as normal, short and long vowels in terms of their condensation time. Long vowels are defined as vowels whose articulation time is longer than the duration of a normal vowel or that includes the articulation time of two normal-length vowels.Long vowels have been systematically preserved in Turkmen, Yakut and Khalaj dialects. In the other dialects they couldn’t be regularly preserved, generally they shortened and mixed with normal vowels without any phonotheque trace, but in some dialects phonotheque traces can be seen with various alternation. These phonotheque traces are diphthong, vocalization, thinning, thickening, consonant derivation and widening.It is possible to come across the allophonic traces of long vowels, which are seen in almost every dialect of the Turkish language, while shortening, in many Azerbaijani Dialects. In this study, in order to determine the allophonic traces in Azerbaijani dialects, especially the Azerbaijan Dialectology Lugati, Karabakh, Nakhchivan, etc., which were published after the publication of this dictionary. Studies on dialects such as. In the study, the vowel traces left by the long vowels in Azerbaijani dialects will be tried to be revealed by examining them comparatively with the historical periods and contemporary dialects of the Turkish language. Türkçede ünlüler boğumlanma süreleri bakımından normal, kısa ve uzun süreli ünlüler olmak üzere üçe ayrılırlar. Uzun ünlüler, boğumlanma süresi normal bir ünlünün süresinden daha uzun olan yahut normal uzunluktaki iki ünlünün boğumlanma süresini içine alan ünlüler olarak tanımlanmaktadır.Türkmen, Yakut ve Halaç lehçelerinde sistemli olarak korunan; diğer lehçelerde ise düzenli olarak korunamayıp, çoğunlukla kısaldıkları görülen uzun ünlülerin, birçok lehçede ve ağızda hiçbir seslik iz bırakmadan kısalıp normal süreli ünlülerle karıştığı; bazı lehçe ve ağızlarda ise çeşitli değişiklikler meydana getirerek seslik izler bıraktığı görülmektedir.
