Translation: The combat task of the Five-Year Plan is to electrify the USSR. The country needs a lot of electricity! There won't be enough – factories and plants won't be able to operate without it. Electricity is the best engine for industry. There is no energy in the world stronger and cheaper than electricity. According to the Five-Year Plan, we will build 42 powerful power stations. By the end of the Five-Year Plan, the USSR will receive 33 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. Each kilowatt of electric energy will produce as much work in an hour as six human workers. Remember, thirty-three billion is a huge amount.
