Data visualization illustrates wind force and directions. Descriptive text accompanies charts, covering topics such as weather, derelicts, dangerous navigation, and equator crossings for sailing passages in the Pacific Ocean. Atlas depicts the ocean activity during each month from January, 1894, to December, 1896. In addition, other charts feature great circle sailing in the North Atlantic Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean.
