Volume 1 contains 16 lithographic maps and views, some double page. They depict the solar system, the Figure of the Earth, World Map, the Races of the globe, Europe, its primary city, accompanied by a descriptive text sheet, the Powers of Europe with the main models of ships and the colors of the flags, Italy, the Dardanelles and the Strait of Gibraltar, the beautiful "view of Italy Perspective" showing a birds eye view from the Alps to Sicily, and Italy Hydrographic Chart. Also contains explanatory notes in the margins and statistical information on the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas, and Oceania by Giuseppe Civelli and Paolo Bezzera. Volume 2 covers 25 outline hand colored maps of hemispheres, continents and countries. Showing political and administrative divisions major cities, towns, villages, roads and railroads. Volumes are bound in marbled paper covered boards with title "La geografia a colpo d'occhio Atlante" pasted on the cover of 1st. volume.
