Description
Summary:Relief shown in hachures. This is probably the first edition of Sohr's Hand - Atlas, although Espenhorst shows a slightly earlier date for that edition. The map of Mexico shows Texas as independent, the North America map shows Texas as part of the U.S., while the U.S. map shows Texas as part of Mexico. All three conditions of Texas shown in the same atlas indicate that this was a period of transition, to say the least. The maps are lithographed with outline color. Espenhorst 4.1.1.; not in Phillips.
