Compare the English charts to the French issues in the French Neptune of 1820. Vancouver's charts were the most accurate of the area for many years into the 19th century. In addition to the eight Northwest Coast charts, there is a "Chart shewing part of the S.W. Coast of New Holland" (with inset charts of New Zealand) and "A Chart of the Sandwich Islands."
