This report details the metadata associated with the Scottish Coastal Observatory (SCObs) dataset (DOIXXXX) that has been uploaded onto the Marine Scotland website. The SCObs dataset contains weekly data on temperature, salinity, nutrients, ocean acidification, dissolved oxygen, phytoplankton communities, algal toxins, chlorophyll ‘a’ and zooplankton communities that have been collected from around the Scottish coast since 1997.
