We were funded to begin single-species, laboratory-culture experiments assessing the influence of experimentally-varied steady-state pH/CO2 upon phytoplankton physiology and nutritional content, including growth rate, elemental composition (C, N, P), total carbohydrates, lipids, and fatty acids.
