The results of the dose-effect experiment for eleven soils from Sakhalin island are presented. The crude oil were added to soils in different doses from the 3.0 to 100.0 g•kg -1 and the Hordeum vulgarie (barley) root elongation were measured as one of the important ecotoxicity parameters.
