Experimental conditions Temperature and pHNIST were measure most days in the rearing containers, alkalinity (µmol/kgSW) was measured from samples taken weekly. The pCO2 (µatm) and Ω Ca were calculated using the measured values for AT (mean 2309, SE = 5.8, n = 21) and pH, see methods for details.
