Summary: | The dataset includes five parts: Core data, Ventilation age, C. wuellerstorfi δ 18 O, C.suellerstorfi δ 13 C, and Sea water δ 18 O. For δ 18 O and δ 13 C analysis, 3-5 specimens of the epifaunal benthic foraminifera C. wuellerstorfi were selected from the >150 µm fraction. All results are referenced against the PeeDee belemnite (PDB) and further calibrated using the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) 19. The analytical standard deviation stands at approximately ± 0.07 ‰. For AMS 14 C dating, 7–10 mg of well-preserved specimens of the planktic foraminifera N. pachyderma and 3–4 mg of the epifaunal benthic foraminifera C. wuellerstorfi were selected from the >150 μm fraction at core depths of 0–1 and 3–4 cm. The 14 C-ventilation age has been outlined as the conventional 14 C disparity observed between benthic and planktic foraminifera. The bottom seawater δ 18 O (δ 18 O sw ), expressed in permil relative to Standard Mean Ocean Water (SMOW), was computed from the equilibrium δ 18 O of C. wuellerstorfi . ... |
