BLASTN Analysis Results Files
BLASTN Analysis Results Files The Salmo salar soluble Toll-like receptor 5 (sTLR5) sequence was found in the Stephen et al. paper with a linked accession number. This accession number took us to the NIH website where we were able to download the CDS sequence of the sTLR5 as a FASTA file. The Salmo s...

This accession number took us to the NIH website where we were able to download the CDS sequence of the sTLR5 as a FASTA file. The Salmo salar sTLR5 was then used to run a BLASTN analysis against each species cDNA on Ensembl Genome Browser 105. The search sensitivity was set to "Normal." We then identified hits with a high percent Identity and an e-value of 0.0, making sure that the hits were in fact different genes (different subject name and location in genome). These hits were then saved as a FASTA using their CDS. They were then uploaded into AliView and aligned using MUSCLE.
