The talk will cover the 2021 Antarctic Cable Workshop final report along with progress underway currently. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Wallace Chase is the Head of IT Infrastructure at the University of Otago. Prior to that role, he was the Technical Engagement Manager at Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand (REANNZ). Prior to coming to NZ, Wallace worked in information technology roles for four other major universities in the US (Clemson University, Washington State University, The George Washington University and Lake Superior State University). Wallace was also CEO the State of South Carolina’s research and education network, CLight, providing research and education network services to 23 universities, polytechnics and school districts across the state of South Carolina.
