Iceland is an episodic source of atmospheric ice-nucleating particles relevant for mixed-phase clouds - dataset

In this work we show that Icelandic dust contributes sporadically to the INP population in certain areas of the Arctic and North Atlantic, particularly during the summer. This is done by combining aircraft measurements of the ice-nucleation ability of Icelandic dust with a global aerosol model.
