Animation of the large-scale dispersal of the Soufrière Saint Vincent SO2-rich plume from S5P/TROPOMI satellite observations (9-17 April 2021) using the Aeris/Icare Volcplume platform. The volcanic plume flies over ground stations equipped with AERONET (Aerosol Robotic Network) sun photometers that are indicated by a square symbol whose color indicates the daily mean aerosol optical depth (AOD).
