In addition to the Treskelodden fm. the model also shows the underlying red-beds composed of mainly alluvial fans and shales of the Carboniferous Hyrnefjellet fm. Overlying the Treskelodden fm. and separated by a hiatus and angular? unconformity is approximately 5-7 m of the Late Permian Kapp Starostin fm. which is composed mainly of siliceous cherts and some minor shales.
