Western Atlantic— Bermuda, USA (Florida), Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, north of South America, and Brazil (Amapá, Pará, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul). Eastern Atlantic—Mediterranean Sea, off Cape of Good Hope, east coast of South Africa. Indo-West Pacific—Bay of Bengal, East and South China Seas, Philippines, Malaysia, Queensland, and Australia (D’Incao 1995a; Melo et al . 2014; Vereshchaka et al . 2016b). Remarks . Previous records from offshore São Paulo are from northern limit of the state to Santos (Costa & Prandi 1971; D’Incao 1995a).
