Landry (CPAD). Diagnosis.— This species resembles S. dubius but differs from the latter by the shape of the embolus tip (E) (Fig. 31), the pointed anterior radical process (ARP) (Fig. 31), and the shape of the palpal tibial apophysis (PTA) (Fig. 32). Distribution.— Previously known from Greenland (Holm 1967) and from only one North American record in Washington (Crawford 1988). See also Millidge (1984). Remark.— The Parc de la Gaspésie is known to harbour relict and disjunct populations of spiders with Arctic distributions (see Paquin et al. 2000, Paquin & LeSage 2001). This new record for Canada is an important mention for the enigmatic distribution of this species.
