ORDER LAMNIFORMES Family Lamnidae Lamna nasus (Bonnaterre, 1788) — Porbeagle Carcharodon carcharias (Linnaeus, 1758) — Great white shark Reported by Solorzano et al. (1988) based on specimens caught by the long line fleet and discharged at the Coruña fishmarket. We consider this as a doubtful record, because those specimens were probably caught out of the study area.
