Eight specimens: MNRJ, 26933 (2, 183.0–205.0 mm), T, E-519; MNRJ (2, 193.0–211.0 mm), T, E-519; MNRJ (1, 209.0 mm), T, E-525; MNRJ (1, 270.0 mm), T, E-526; MNRJ (1, 289.0 mm), T, E- 527; MNRJ (1, 281.0 mm), T, E-552. Distribution. First record of Squalogadus modificatus in the WSA. Collected from off Bahia, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro, at depths from 1342 to 1929 m.
