Polycitoridae Cystodytes antarcticus ? Sluiter, 1912 Sluiter, 1912: 460. Monniot & Monniot 1983: 36 and synonymy. Tatian et al. 2005: 209. Station: 5. A single damaged colony 5 cm in length and 1 cm thick was collected at 211 m depth. The vitreous translucent tunic contains poorly calcified spicules, some in flat disks but others only represented by needles. The general anatomy corresponds to that of the genus; however no gonads or larvae are present so the species is provisionally assigned to the species C. antarcticus. One sequence for specimen A3 CYS 136 (BOLD: ASCAN014-10). No close hit in BOLD (best: 80.03%).
