Australian Museum Marine Ecology Department (station 2). Type locality. North of Lion Island, Broken Bay, New South Wales, Australia (33°33’S 151°19’E). Etymology. Named for Bungaree, an outstanding elder from Broken Bay, who was the first indigenous person to circum-navigate Australia. Diagnosis. Mandible accessory setal row with 9 robust setae. Maxilla 1 outer plate palp slender, article 2 with 4 robust setae.
